Asha Robinson

Costume Designer, Maker and Stylist

The Drowsy Chaperone

ROLE

Costume Designer

Asha designed and realised a full costume world for a 1920s-inspired musical, balancing dramaturgy, fantasy, and character-driven detail across a 40-person ensemble. She collaborated with the Director, Set, Lighting, and Stage Management to ensure cohesive scenographic integration and smooth quick-change logistics. Asha aided in managing the budget, purchasing, and documentation, maintaining alignment with feasibility and OHS requirements. She delivered all design phases — concepts, renderings, costume plots, construction drawings — on schedule while adapting to rehearsal developments and performer needs.
